Kandace R. Miller, Ph.D. was selected by the AIM Board of Directors in July of 2006 to serve as the President and CEO of AIM. Kandace served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the prior six years, and has been with AIM since 1993. She also has experience working in community college administration in both Kansas and Wyoming. Kandace holds a Ph.D. in public administration and community service from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her dissertation research focused on the impact of information technology on societal values. Kandace also holds an M.S. degree in education (counseling and psychology) and a B.A. degree in speech and communications, both from the University of Kansas. Kandace has various, eclectic interests including aerobics, yoga, movies, Hip Hop, and reality TV. She has two children, Alex (20) and Jake (16), and three Malteses: Cash, Change, and Sasha.

Adam Klier began his employment with AIM in 2008. Adam currently serves as AIM’s project manager. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and is currently pursuing an IT degree. Adam is a Michigan native with an extensive background in IT customer service. Prior to joining AIM, he worked for Electronic Data Systems for 7 years, where he provided support for several state government clients (and General Motors) at the executive level. Adam is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.

Allen Harding started as an AIM employee in October of 2007 with his focus on being an account manager/new business sales. Allen brings a professional level of experience from a sales and marketing background from Excelsior Benefits, where he was a licensed insurance agent for almost 4 years. Allen received a degree in business management from Bellevue University. He and his wife of 7 years enjoy playing with their 2 year old son and growing as new parents. He has two dogs, a German Shepherd and a miniature Dachshund. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing basketball.

Angela attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a degree in secondary science education with a minor in biology. Angela then went on to attend the College of William & Mary, where she earned a Masters of Education in science education with an emphasis in environmental education. Angela taught in public and private schools, at a university and a local community college. She spent summers working as a park naturalist in Virginia. Angela has authored 5 books to assist elementary teachers with math instructions. She has also assisted several state agencies in Virginia and Nebraska with developing and writing curriculum on environmental topics such as litter prevention, boating safety and water quality. Angela relocated with her family to Nebraska in the summer of 2000. She has two children who attend Papillion-LaVista schools. As a family they enjoy camping, rock hounding and hiking. At home, Angela is an avid reader and enjoys her new Nook.

Ashley DeVrieze began working at AIM in Fall of 2009, currently serving as a U.S. Department of Education Site Coordinator for the TRIO Upward Bound Grant. She is responsible for working with Upward Bound Club students at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, coordinating after school programming and skill-building workshops, as well as providing mentoring and individualized assistance with college applications and scholarships. Ashley previously spent four years as a high school English instructor before moving to Omaha and joining the AIM staff. She enjoys painting and reading, as well as spending time outdoors with her husband, Brad, and their Old English Sheepdog, Scout.

Audrey Black has worked for AIM since 2000. Audrey serves as a U.S. Department of Education College and Career Coordinator for a TRIO Talent Search Grant, responsible for coordinating the efforts of after school programming in the core curriculum and college/career awareness. Audrey is the first point of contact for students, parents and staff who have a vested interest in the success of students at Bryan Middle and High Schools. Audrey brings 10 years experience in school administrative processes to her job, having previously worked for Omaha Public Schools. She has three grown sons, a daughter-in-law, a standard Poodle (Dixie) and two Chihuahua’s (Chica & Zeepa). In her spare time, Audrey enjoys spending time with family, quilting, sewing and shopping for fabric.

Barb Roy began working at AIM in the spring of 2013, and currently serves in IT as Kanban Administrator, Documentation Specialist and Software Release Tester. Barb holds the Certified Quality Analyst designation from the Quality Assurance Institute.

Rebecca (Becky) Ring Ochsner joined the AIM in 2009 as controller. Becky’s prior work experience includes accounting systems, accounting and tax for the Omaha World-Herald, Oracle Corporation, First Data Resources and Union Pacific Railroad. Becky holds a BSBA in accounting with a minor in international economics from UNL. She successfully completed the Certified Public Accounting exam in Nebraska, and is a member of the AICPA and NSCPA. Becky has two sons, Aaron, a musician and geology major focusing on geothermal science, and Jon, a musician and sociology major. An active supporter of local music performance and arts/crafts events, you can be sure to find Becky there with her coffee cup.

Brad McPeak is a Vice President at AIM in charge of our youth and college initiatives. These initiatives are focused on helping students to be successful academically, to understand what a great career field IT is, and (for those who are already interested in IT) to get an even better IT education. Brad has been at AIM since 2002 and has a background in direct marketing and marketing operations. He has a BA in history and philosophy from the University of Mississippi as well as graduate work in history and theology. Brad is the Director and a Co-Principal Investigator for the Midwest Center for Information Technology, an NSF regional center of excellence in technical education. Brad has a "Dalmatian" named Heck that you may easily mistake for a Pit Bull.

Carlos Mejia was born in Los Angeles, CA, but raised in Omaha since he was 7 years old. Carlos has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Prior to working at AIM, Carlos worked at Cox Communications for 6 years. During that time, he won several trips to destinations such as Cabo San Lucas, Vegas, and Hawaii as top salesman rewards, which involved exceeding percentages to quota, retention, and conversion rates. In total, Carlos has over 11 years of experience in sales. He has an 8 year old daughter, Malayna, whose basketball team he helps coach. Carlos is very involved in volunteer work, and in his free time enjoys reading, playing chess, and playing (and watching) sports.

Chad Picha joined AIM in 1994 as an intern. Upon finishing his BS/BA degree at University of Nebraska Omaha with a major in MIS, Chad was hired full time. Some of his first projects included the development of a resume database for use with the business internship programs, and web site development. Chad is currently a Systems Engineer at AIM. He not only works with AIM systems and applications, but also helps and educates other small businesses with their technology needs. His hobbies include computers, landscaping, snow skiing, visiting national and state parks, and community involvement.

He has been a leader in sales of new business, managed a team of salespeople and developed business in new markets. Chris brings his professional level experience from a sales and marketing background at Union Pacific Railroad and Omaha World-Herald. He holds a degree in business with a triple major in marketing, finance and banking from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Chris has enjoyed leading Boy Scouts in his son’s troop. Dan Winslow has been a professional programmer for 30 years. Originally from Virginia, Dan joined the Air Force as a computer operator, later cross-training into programming. He worked at Offutt AFB and spent a tour in Germany. Leaving the Air Force after 9 years, Dan went to college and obtained a B.S. in information technology. He worked for several defense contractors, and has also spent time working as a contractor for staffing agencies and as a direct employee for several corporations here in Omaha, including Ameritrade, Union Pacific and Con Agra. Technically, Dan specializes in back-end and database development, communications development, and low-level device integrations. At AIM, he currently serves as Lead Developer. Dan enjoys playing the guitar, reading, writing, as well as collecting and developing for 8-bit Atari computers and other decrepit hardware.

Daryl Guest has worked with AIM’s Careerlink.com sales team for nearly one year. Prior to joining AIM, Daryl spent 20 years serving in the public drinking water industry. Also, for many years, Daryl enjoyed raising and training Labrador retrievers for AKC Retriever Hunting Tests and field trials, and for narcotic detection for law enforcement, state prisons and U.S Border Patrol. Additionally, Daryl worked with Omaha Steaks for almost 11 years in phone sales. He is a proud father of three children: one older son on his own, a daughter in college, and a son in high school. Dave Coover manages AIM's Events group. Dave came to AIM in November 2002 from Omaha Public Schools where he served in various roles including: classroom teacher, department chairman, technology coordinator, network administrator, and student recruitment director. Dave graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1987) with a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry. He also holds a Master of Science in educational administration (1994) from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is certified as a secondary science teacher and secondary principal. He retired from the Nebraska Air National Guard after 23 years of service, flying the RF-4C Phantom and the KC-135R refueling tanker. Dave is an active pilot with the Omaha Composite Civil Air Patrol squadron and also participates in a variety of community and church activities. He is married and a proud father of two children, Will and Jennifer.

Dave Vankat is the Director of Events Management for AIM. He is the conference director for the Infotec Conference and coordinates AIM’s other conferences and events. Dave has worked with AIM since its founding and has been involved with developing AIM memberships and the Careerlink.com website. In addition to his work at AIM, Dave has worked in IT consulting as well as in the online financial services industry on software development and project management. He holds a B.S. degree in industrial and management systems engineering from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. David has worked at AIM since the fall of 2000. He currently directs the Upward Bound grants that serve high school-aged youth at Omaha Bryan and Papillion La Vista High Schools. He also assists with new grant writing efforts and grant reporting compliance. David earned his undergraduate degree at Dana College and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He works closely with AIM in developing functional methods of data retrieval for grant evaluation. His entire career has been devoted to education, with 34 previous years of service to the Omaha Public Schools, twenty years of which he served as an elementary school principal. David’s favorite activities include hiking, motorcycling, fixing what breaks and being a proud grandparent.

Dee Studt is an Administrative Manager with AIM. She has worked at AIM for the past fifteen years. She previously assisted the president of AIM and is now working in the Accounting Department with an emphasis on payroll, employee benefits and accounts payable. Dee studied at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is also licensed in property and casualty insurance as well as life and health. Dee has held the position of President for the Omaha Women’s Chamber of Commerce in 1993, and the position of Regent for her Church group from 2006 to 2010. In the past, she has served as a Girl Scout Leader for three years, and served on the membership and fundraising committees for the Omaha Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves on the membership committee for the Omaha Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and the scholarship committee for her church group. Eli Aguilar has been a member of AIM since November of 2006. Currently, he serves as the Western Nebraska Director of Outreach for the Educational Opportunity Center in Scottsbluff, NE. Previously, he has served as the Educational Opportunity Center’s Assistant Site Coordinator. In addition, he serves on the Leadership Scottsbluff Board of Directors, NEXT Young Professionals Board of Directors, and the Center for Rural Affairs-RIC Board of Directors. Eli earned his B.A. degree in psychology with a minor in business from Chadron State College. Elody A. Kiser joined the AIM staff in December 2010 as a Talent Search Site Coordinator for Wilson Middle School and Thomas Jefferson High School. She is also a building coordinator and board member of the TeamMates mentoring program. Elody retired in 2009 from the Council Bluffs school district, where she taught Language Arts and Reading primarily in the junior high level. She has teaching experience from elementary (K-6) to adult education classes at Iowa Western Community College. She has been a presenter at the State Reading Conference and a district level facilitator for staff development. Elody earned her M.S. in education (reading) and B.S. in education (psychology) from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. She has three children, Lindsay, Allison, and Andy. She also has one granddaughter, Alexis, who is her traveling buddy. She and her daughters operate AnnaKay Baby Cakes and enjoy attending area craft fairs. Over the years, James has worked as an intern for the National Geographic Society, started an Internet company with a friend (back when the Web was still new), developed an automated flight weather briefing system for the Air Force, and is now pleased to be working as a Software Engineer for AIM. James has owned many classic computers from the earliest Apples to Silicon Graphics workstations, but these days he is quite happy to not own a computer at all. This has allowed him to pursue other crazy interests like collecting vintage Brigitte Bardot movie posters. And when racing cars became too expensive, James started restoring obscure European racing bicycles. When the workday is done, you can find him cycling towards the horizon.

Justin Mac Nair is the Partner Coordinator (and works with artists as a Program Officer) for AIM’s very own crowdfunding site, Hatchfund.org. He started working at AIM in October of 2010. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in both business and vocal music from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation, Justin spent 4 years living in beautiful Nashville, TN, where he pursued his love of music and managed a nightclub. A thrill seeker, Justin has competed in such ridiculous events as Red Bull’s Flugtag, where he was the Pilot of an “aircraft” that flew 23 1/3 feet, and has even been on an authentic African safari through the Serengeti. Also, he has enjoyed moderate success in the music industry in several different genres, from acapella to Rock N’ Roll. Today, he plays music strictly for the love and fun of it.

Prior to coming to AIM in 1993, Kathleen was an attorney in private practice with several Omaha law firms. A 1981 cum laude graduate of the Creighton University School of Law, Kathleen also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Kathleen is active in the Omaha community, having served on a number of community Boards including the Leadership Omaha Alumni Association, the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, Girls, Inc., the Great Plains Girl Scouts Council, the Operators – Opera Omaha, and the YWCA. Kathy Ocasio is an Account Manager on the sales team at AIM. Her background has included human resources management, corporate training, and account management that included an international component. Most recently, she worked for a local university conducting employer outreach to create internship opportunities for students, and she coached students on job search strategies. Kathy has a B.S. in international business and an M.A. in leadership from Bellevue University.
In her spare time, Kathy is an avid genealogist and spends many of her vacation days walking through cemeteries and visiting libraries and courthouses in search of golden nuggets of family history. Through her family research, she has become actively involved in a variety of heritage organizations and serves on the Nebraska state boards for the Daughters of the American Revolution, United States Daughters of 1812 and Daughters of the American Colonists.

In her leisure time, Levi enjoys swimming, skiing, and traveling with her husband.

Lisa Karnatz is the Regional Relationship Manager for the AIM Central Nebraska office. Lisa’s primary responsibilities include working with the region to assist in building an IT Pipeline, linking people to careers, and assisting in IT career development.This is accomplished through promotion of events, products, youth and lifelong learner programs in the Kearney/Grand Island/Hastings area. Lisa’s experience from her prior positions as Development Associate for the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary, and as Economic Development Director for the City of Minden, help define her talents. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, as well as a fashion merchandising associates degree from Southeast Community College-Lincoln. Luke Hauser joined AIM in the Spring of 2013 as the Web Intern. Luke graduated from Central High School with honors in 2011. He currently attends classes at Metropolitan Community College, where he majors in information technology. He also has a passion for graphic design. In his spare time, Luke enjoys playing soccer, both physically and virtually on the video game, “FIFA.” His other interests include meticulously tending to (and restoring) his two cars: a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic and a 1989 Volkswagen Cabriolet.
Marcy Mendez has been at AIM for 1 year as an Administrative Assistant. Marcy has her Associates of Art degree in business administration from Western Nebraska Community College. Currently, Marcy is attending Chadron State College to work on her bachelor’s degree in social work. Before AIM, she was a personal banker/bank teller at First State Bank for about 3 years. Marcy enjoys family time with her 6 year old son, Dominic, her 1 year old son, Lucas, and (of course) her husband. As a family, they all like to camp and be outdoors. Particularly, they love Lake McConaughy, water activities, hiking, traveling, and playing sports. Marcy’s favorite leisure activity is playing volleyball and basketball at the YMCA co-ed or Woman’s league. A very optimistic person, she is always smiling and enjoys helping others.

Marie Hiykel has been with AIM since 1999, and currently serves as the Project Director for AIM’s TRIO Talent Search Program, a U.S. Department of Education grant. Marie is responsible for curriculum development, budget management, and the coordination of student academic programming geared towards college and career awareness. Marie received a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. A graduate certificate in instructional technology paired with a Library Media Endorsement allows Marie the opportunity to bring curriculum, technology and research together for 21st-century teaching and learning. Marie serves in a volunteer capacity as the President of the Board of Directors for the UNO Library Friends. The youngest of nine children, Marie enjoys spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, siblings and an array of nieces and nephews that encompass four generations.

Michael Swope joined AIM in the spring of 2013 as the Vice President of Operations in the Omaha office location. Mike is primarily responsible for leading AIM’s national expansion initiative, strategic management of AIM’s products and delivery of its mission services. “Mike brings great vision and a broad base of experience in operations, finance, IT, and business development to AIM, as well as the ability to leverage technology for competitive advantage,” said AIM’s President & CEO, Dr. Kandace R. Miller. “He will be a key player in the success of our national growth strategies.”
Mike earned an Executive MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in management from Malone College in Canton, Ohio, as well as an associate’s degree in electronics engineering technology from the Ohio Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio.
Prior to joining AIM, Mike has held executive positions with a number of firms in the Midwest and Omaha where he has, among many other accomplishments, redesigned processes for greater efficiency and productivity. Through implementing change and innovation in the workplace, Mike has consistently been responsible for substantial growth in overall profits.

Michael Zeigle began his adventure with AIM in early 2009 as a member of the AIM Careerlink sales team. Michael has been a consistent sales leader who truly enjoys the consultative approach to dealing with his clients. He prides himself on doing what is right for the client at all times. With over 20 years outside field experience, it was a cultural shift for him to be housed inside, but he has adapted extremely well to this shift. Over the years, he has coached numerous soccer teams from 3 and 4 year olds up to 8 year olds. He currently holds an E soccer coaching license. He enjoys all outside activities and has been an avid fisherman since his childhood.

Mike Kolker is part of the marketing team at AIM, working as a Marketing Specialist focused on content and creative work. He graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in graphic arts, and his work history includes an eclectic mix of different experiences.
Early in his career, Mike designed air-inflated costumes and mascots and then drew and created signs and vinyl graphics. After that, he had a brief career in higher education where he recruited students and facilitated enrollment efforts for both Metropolitan Community College and Bellevue University.
In the summer of 2012, his career came full-circle when he joined AIM to assist with the new branding efforts and national expansion projects. He has been part of the team who has worked on redesigning all of marketing and promotional materials to develop a new look for AIM. Mike also enjoys frequently being the emcee at many of the AIM events that take place throughout the year.
Outside of AIM, Mike loves music, art, technology and all things creative. He is an entertainer, entrepreneur, artist and dedicated father to two boys, Jake and Max. He enjoys time spent with family and friends, and loves to cook and have guests over for dinner and parties. He challenges himself to always become more of a minimalist but sometimes struggles because his hobbies require a lot of “stuff.” You will always find Mike consuming new music and creating a perpetual soundtrack for his life (on various mobile devices) using Spotify, an app he claims he could not live without.

Mimi Bosco is AIM’s Executive Unit Director, responsible for the organization’s talent management and employee engagement efforts. Before assuming human resource responsibilities full time, Mimi also supported AIM’s grant-writing efforts and management of AIM Careerlink.
Mimi’s prior work experience includes owning a small business, project management for federally funded programs, and working in a community college grants office. Mimi received her BA in business management at Bellevue University and has AAS degrees in business management and administrative assistance as well as a certificate in public relations. Mimi and her husband have three married daughters and five grandchildren, all living in or near the Omaha metro area.

Nadine Baker has been an Educational Grant Director at AIM for the past seventeen years. Currently, she manages five grants that serve 850+ low income, first generation students in the Metropolitan area. Nadine holds a B.A. degree in psychology and social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Prior to working at AIM, she managed a Tech Prep grant at Metropolitan Community College, and was co-owner/operator of a small business. Nadine is a certified Master Gardener and volunteers through the UNL Extension Service on the weekends and after work when she has time. She is married to Gerry Baker, Director of Continuing Education at Metropolitan Community College, and has two children, Andrew and Jill. She also has a daughter-law, Alissa, a son-in-law, Benjamin, and three beautiful grandchildren, Desmond, Evie, and Jacob.

Pamela R. Linke is the TRIO Upward Bound Program College and Career Coordinator at Bryan High School. Pam came to AIM in August 2003 from Omaha Public Schools, where she served in roles as an instructional facilitator and classroom teacher. Pam graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1992) with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and an elementary education teaching certificate. Pam also holds a Master of Science in educational administration (2005) from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Pam stays active within her school and church communities by teaching Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and volunteering with the PTO. She is married and has two children, McKenzie and Connor, with whom she shares her hobbies of cooking, reading, and scrapbooking.

Penny Hughey was born and raised in Dalton, GA where she was an honor graduate of Dalton High School. However, for more than 10 years now, she has called the greater Chattanooga area her home. She attended Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in music. She began a 20+ year career in the banking industry with the original First National Bank of Dalton as a teller working part time in college during summers and holidays. Upon graduating, she completed the intensive, six-month management training program with what was then Wachovia Bank, and has also worked for several other large banks including Bank of America, BB&T and First Tennessee. Penny served various roles throughout her banking career, eventually earning the officer title of vice president along with numerous sales performance awards and customer service awards. In 2011, her career took a new direction when she went to work in Business sales for Chattanooga Business Machines. After spending 2 years in that industry, she decided she needed a career with more meaning; that is when she joined AIM in 2013 as a Regional Relationship Manager. She was drawn to AIM because of their strong connection in giving back to the community.
Penny is an advocate and active volunteer for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce serving as an ambassador, Director of Communications for the Ambassador Steering Committee, Vice President of Membership for the East Brainerd Council and President of the East Brainerd Elite Squad. She is a member of Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute and will be a graduate of the 2013 class of their Women’s Mentoring training program. She is a founding member (and part of) the advisory council for the local Women Mean Business networking group, and she is an active member of the local B2B Networking group. She is also an active volunteer for the local American Cancer Society and serves as both a teacher and volunteer for the local Junior Achievement chapter. Phil Hofreiter has served as a College Access Program (CAP) College and Career Coordinator at AIM since January 2011. Phil’s previous career experiences have been as a career math teacher at the middle school, high school and community college levels in addition to coaching girls track. He also holds an M.A. in guidance and a B.A. in mathematics from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. He currently tutors math part time. Rebecca Gerhart has been with AIM since June of 2012, serving as special projects assistant. After graduating from Skutt Catholic High School in 2011, Rebecca went on to attend Creighton University for one year followed by Metropolitan Community College for two trimesters. She plans to continue working towards earning a degree in business (with a minor in entrepreneurship), with the ultimate goal of opening her own small business. Prior to joining AIM, Rebecca worked as a phone interviewer at Professional Research Consultants. She is the middle child in a family of five children (four girls and one boy), and was raised by a loving and “totally rad” mother. She also has a four month old puppy named Winnie, a German shepherd and pitbull mix. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys fishing, taking her dog on long walks at the lake, and staying active in any way possible.

Renita Terry joined AIM in November of 2011, which happens to be her favorite month of the year. In coming to AIM, Renita brought previous work experience and skills in education, promotions, and human development. Prior to joining the team, she served urban and at-risk youth as a student services professional at a four-year university. Additionally, she has conducted presentations on college exploration, career readiness, communication strategies, and organizational effectiveness to various audiences.
Renita loves spending time reading books, making fun memories with loved ones, and exploring the various humanities and social sciences. In the near future, she plans on working towards earning advanced degrees in education and counseling psychology. Her greatest passion lies in the creative arts. With that said, do not be surprised if you catch her playing the piano, singing, and/or performing in a community play.

Robert Sweeney, Ph.D., is President & CEO Emeritus for AIM. Robert began with AIM as the Executive Director in April 1992, and retired as President & CEO in October 2006. He has more than 30 years of professional experience as an educator, manager and economist. Robert has been a catalyst for growth within AIM, and has provided leadership for the information technology community. Robert holds a Ph.D. in economics from Georgia State University, an M.S. in agricultural economics from Louisiana State University and a B.S. in farm operations from Iowa State University.

Rod Armstrong is Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for AIM. His role involves developing partnerships with business, government, education and other non-profit organizations to further AIM’s mission. Rod also directs AIM’s Lincoln office, which opened in 2010 at the Nebraska Technology Park. Prior to joining AIM, Rod was President of Nebraska Interactive, Inc., serving as the contractor that manages the State of Nebraska’s official Web portal, Nebraska.gov. He also spent 20 years in the public policy field in Nebraska’s executive and legislative branches. Rod is a native of Broken Bow, Nebraska, attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His interests include carpentry, gardening, fishing and playing the piano. Rod and his wife Michele have two children and three grandchildren.

Rose Barrios attended Bellevue West High and has been with AIM for nearly two years. Rose started out at AIM as a part of the Client Engagement Team, working as a Client and Community Education specialist. In late 2012, Rose and was transferred over to the Market Encounter and Engagement Team. She is now a sales administrative assistant and although she has only been at AIM for a short time, she has learned a tremendous amount thus far and always looks forward to serving her community and heightening its brilliance. Her previous career experience includes working as an adviser with a community college TRIO program and also teaching Spanish at the middle school level. Stefanie holds an M.S. in health education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a B.A. in 7-12 Spanish Education from the University of Northern Iowa. In her spare time, Stefanie and husband Matt enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and traveling.

Stephanie is currently a Customer Service and Account Manager for AIM Careerlink. She previously served as Content Development Specialist for AIM. Additionally, she assisted with several grants including Community Technology Centers, Omaha Safe Schools Healthy Students and the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant. Stephanie holds an associate’s degree in health and human services from Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, NE, and a Bachelor of Science degree in business information systems and human & social services administration from Bellevue University. Tim Erickson is currently the Business Development Director for AIM. Tim is responsible for partnership and development with businesses outside the Omaha area, as well as assisting in research projects, grants, and project management. Additionally, he is responsible for outreach to communities and schools.
Tim has worked on several multimillion dollar projects in the area of capacity building, and has provided consulting services to over 200 non-profits in the areas of organizational development, marketing, evaluation, strategic planning and management development.
Tim was formerly a general manager and marketing director for software development companies in Iowa, Georgia and Nebraska. He assisted in winning several “Best of the Web” awards from the Center for Digital Government, a Pioneer Award from the Government Solutions Center, and other national and international awards.
Prior to his work in the private sector, Tim served as a technology advisor for two governors of Nebraska. He also served in the Governor’s Policy Research Office as a policy analyst in the areas of revenue and finance, business, agriculture, health, human services, and education. Additionally, Tim has worked as a speechwriter for another governor in Nebraska, a research analyst for the Revenue Committee, and legislative aide for the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature.
Tim is a graduate of Seward High School, and went on to complete his higher education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Creighton University Law School. He has won awards as an author and playwright, and was a finalist for national and state awards in speech and debate at the high school and collegiate level.

Victoria Cunningham is currently Director of Lean Operations for AIM. She is responsible for managing projects, ensuring process efficacy and efficiency, as well as coordinating organizational development via lean integration and various executive initiatives. Victoria’s prior work experience includes healthcare and IT project management, working in university research, strategic planning for nonprofits, and conducting benchmark and feasibility analyses for organizational restructuring. In 2011, Vicki graduated from Creighton University with her MBA and M.S. in bioscience management; she also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Victoria is working towards pursuing her Ph.D in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at UNO. Victoria is active in the Omaha community with participation in the Junior League of Omaha, the Omaha Jaycees, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, along with various professional networking groups and her role on the Sigma Kappa Advisory Board. William Lutz’s experience is made up of 35 years of school administration and curriculum development with the Omaha Public Schools. He is currently Senior Vice President of Program and Resource Development which includes Knowledge Management for AIM. His years with AIM have been focused around fundraising, grant management and evaluation, and partnership facilitation. William continues to focus his efforts on program and resource development, capacity building for nonprofits, and collaborative partnerships that impact community. At home, William has a teenage daughter, a son knocking at the door of adolescence, and two adult children that have provided lots of fun through four grandchildren. William has been molded by his wonderful wife Linda Lou who is a practicing educator with the Omaha Public Schools for the last 25 years. Since his retirement from the Omaha Public Schools, William has been with AIM for 12+ years.

Yolanda Eledge has been in the human resources arena for over 25 years with the past 9 years associated with AIM. Currently, Yolanda develops partnerships enhancing and supporting AIM as well as Evaluation Services and ARIA (the software solution to participant tracking for Grants and TRIO programs). She attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha on scholarship where she majored in fine art. She possesses years of experience in accounting, working for Peter Kiewit Corporate, Pizza Hut Corporate, and the Federal and Omaha City Governments. Yolanda started a successful career in management and as an Executive Recruiter in the mid 80’s working with organizations such as Aureus, Noll, Sales Consultants and Adecco. During the late 90’s she opened New Millennia Consulting as a Business Consultant offering marketing, recruiting and business development services. Yolanda has three grown children, Candice, Katy, and Christopher; she also has two grandchildren, R.J. and Scarlett. She enjoys family, friends, painting, gourmet cooking, traveling to warm destinations by the ocean, and playing with her very spoiled Shitzu.
